In 1988, Salvatore Badalamenti founded the Biemme renovation company in Florence. Renovation work has always been Salvatore’s passion and specialty, and he was fortunate to transform this love into a career.
Through careful market study and attention to the most avant-garde materials, Biemme is always evolving, updating itself, and looking for the newest, high-tech materials. Even as Biemme renovation projects look toward the future, the approach is always based on authenticity and never abandons the past.

LAST
WORKS
Project Zero is a building initiative which gradually developed over the course of a year, transforming an old, out-of-use farmhouse in the hills outside Pontassieve.
1995
THE IDEAL LOCATION / Salvatore purchased a piece of land in the Tuscan countryside, envisioning the possibilities of abandoned farmhouses and dreaming of transforming it into an idyllic residence for his family.
1997
THE BEGINNING / After some initial planning and design stages, the real work began. This was an early chance to work on a challenging project – an all-around, 360-degree restoration of both internal and external areas. This project involved many professionals in different fields, creating a foundation for long-lasting working relationships. Partnerships and long-term loyalty are hallmarks of Biemme’s approach.
2001
FACADE RENOVATION / The outer casing was removed, revealing the original, charming stone facade.
1998
INTERNAL / Work began on the main house.
2008
FARMYARD / Once the main house is finished, work began on the farmyard.
2003
CHARLIE / Salvatore’s youngest son begins developing his own passion for the family business!
2011
EXTERNAL AREAS / After an incredible transformation of the houses, Salvatore and his team got to work on the garden areas. This isn’t a light landscaping project but includes a number of complex operations: terraces, garden patches, walls, irrigation and lighting systems.
2013
COBBLES / Paving of the stone path/road.
2016
OUR HOME / It’s been a long and ongoing project with numerous interruptions but never full stops. It’s functioned as a living construction site that has laid the foundations for what Biemme Restauri is today: a family-run company with numerous associates and partners, and over 30 years of history and experience.
